The IOH 2000 has 100% solid state electronic circuitry and integrates fully with almost any telephone system that can accommodate music on hold. The device can store and play back messages that are variable in length with 2 to 8 minutes total storage time, depending on the model you have. The unit can record up to 6 different messages, and music can be recorded in the music position, to play between the messages. The IOH 2000 installs by either; (1) recording from a tape player, (2) between a music source and your telephone system, then put messages on with a handset or tape player, (3) record music in the music position, then put messages on with a handset or tape player. Standard cables are provided for installation, however you may need adapters for your music source and/or your telephone system. The IOH 2000 uses dynamic RAM chips which store the recorded messages/music. The messages are captured in RAM by down loading from a cassette player or through a standard telephone handset. Just select the message you want to record or re-record, then press and release the record button. To stop recording, press and release the record button again. You can record new messages/music as often as your like, and it takes just minutes to do. Your messages will always play back in the same I through 6 order, and you may select the interval between messages from 0 seconds (continuous play) to 180 seconds.
